Colchester United have sealed the signing of Birmingham's Franck Queudrue.
The experienced defender has seen his chances limited at St Andrews this term, despite the fact he played a major role in their promotion to the Premier League.
The 31-year-old former Middlesbrough and Fulham man has now agreed to spend the rest of the season on loan with the Us.
"There were other clubs interested, but they were mid-table sides and I was pleased to join a promotion push," he said.
"I spent eight years in the Premiership and one in the Championship and I know this will be a physical league.
"But I am looking forward to playing football and helping Colchester in their promotion push."
