Bell and Stefanovic set to join Norwich

Skysports.com understands Norwich are closing on a double swoop for David Bell and Dejan Stefanovic. Fulham defender Stefanovic and Luton midfielder Bell are both believed to be undergoing medicals at Carrow Road. Canaies boss Glenn Roeder has moved for experienced performer Stefanovic as he is short of options in defence. Fulham are willing to offload Stefanovic as he is well down the pecking order at Craven Cottage. The Canaries have been chasing the highly-rated Bell all summer and have now struck a deal with the Hatters. The League Two strugglers have been forced to offload Bell to ease their financial problems and he is expected to be the first of many to leave Kenilworth Road before the start of the season. A number of clubs have been linked with Bell, but Norwich have stolen a march on their rivals by agreeing a deal in the region of £450,000 plus future add-ons with Luton. Bell has now been given permission to hold talks with Norwich and he is thought to be currently undergoing a medical at Carrow Road. Stefanovic and Bell are set to bring Norwich's signings so far this summer to four following the arrivals of Wes Hoolahan and Sammy Clingan.
