Lock in at Brentford

BRENTFORD have taken a look at Fulham youngster Christopher Lock.

The 19-year-old featured in The Bees' reserve team clash with Cardiff City on Wednesday, playing at centre back in the 1-1 draw.

A move across the capital could be in the pipeline for the defender, who was part of Jean Tigana's squad for the InterToto Cup last summer.

Meanwhile, rumours are rife that Martin Rowlands could be on his way out of Griffin Park.

The midfielder (pictured) was left out of the side that drew at Bristol City on Tuesday evening, after incurring the wrath of boss Wally Downes.

The Bees boss fined the former Republic of Ireland Under-21 international for lacking discipline on the field.

In other news, youngster Jay Tabb has had his loan move to non-league Crawley Town cut short early, after the midfielder suffered knee ligament damage in training with his new side this week.

Tabb is facing up to six-to-eight weeks out with the injury.
