But Posh striker's injury not as bad as first feared

Darren Ferguson will have to do without Peterborough's top-scorer Lee Tomlin after he was ruled out for four weeks with an ankle injury. Tomlin scored a sensational hat-trick in the 7-1 victory over Ipswich but picked up the injury when he came off the bench to face West Ham. "Lee thought he heard a crack at the time and the doctor initially felt there might have been a break," said Ferguson. However, the blow has been tempered by the news that the injury is not as bad as first feared. "Had that been the case it could have meant 10 weeks out, so we are relieved the injury has proved not to be as serious as it initially looked," Ferguson added. Meanwhile, Ryan Bennett has been rewarded for his impressive start to the season with a call-up to the England Under-21 squad for the qualifiers against Iceland and Norway.
