Injury-plagued midfielder reveals interest from Premier League clubs

Kieron Dyer claims that he had offers from other Premier League clubs before deciding to sign for newly-promoted Queens Park Rangers. The England international has signed a one-year contract at Loftus Road after experiencing an injury nightmare at West Ham, where he started just 16 games in four seasons. Critics have questioned whether Dyer will still be able to meet the standards of top-flight football. But the 32-year-old has revealed he had interest from at home and abroad before being influenced by QPR boss Neil Warnock. "I had a few offers from other Premier League clubs and abroad but I spoke to the manager. He sold the club to me and his visions for the future and I wanted to be a part of that," he said. "Hopefully a new environment will bring a bit of fresh fortune as well. "I think I'm going to have a very good season. The last few years have been a nightmare because all you want to do is play football and what made it worse last season was we got relegated. "If I was on the pitch I think I could have helped West Ham stay in the Premier League."
