Boro to let striker leave

Middlesbrough are ready to let promising young striker Danny Graham leave the club.

Middlesbrough are ready to let promising young striker Danny Graham leave the club.

The 20-year-old joined the club from non-league football in 2002 - and he has progressed well through the reserves, but has found his first team chances limited.

He has gained Premiership experience with Boro - but most of his playing time has come on loan, following spells with Darlington, Leeds and Derby.

Graham will have been hoping to get the chance to make an impact on Gareth Southgate's first team over the new season - but it seems his future may lie away from Teesside.

His agent Peter Harrison said: "We are looking at a few things for Danny."
