Wilfried Bony is confident of resuming his regular goalscoring form once he settles in at Manchester City.
The £25m January signing is yet to find the net for his new club and missed two decent chances against Leicester in midweek on his first start.
But Bony has come through mini-droughts in the past, going seven games without a goal at the start of Swansea's season before a run of eight in 10 Premier League games.
That scoring streak helped him to more goals in 2014 than any other player in the division and Bony, who arrived in English football from Vitesse Arnhem, is not alarmed by his slow start at City.
“When I first came to England there was big pressure because I was coming from Holland to the Premier League,” he told the City website.
This is a great move for me but I need to work hard, take my chances when they come along and it will get easier as I get to know my team-mates better.
“At Swansea, I didn’t score in the first few games so there was more pressure again, but it’s just something you have to live with by improving and doing things better.

“I’ve only been here for two weeks so I’m just settling in, getting to know everyone better and they are getting to know me and what my strengths are, too.”
One player who knows Bony well already is his Ivory Coast team-mate Yaya Toure, who influenced the 26-year-old's decision to swap Swansea for the Etihad.
He said: “More than anyone, Yaya told me that City was one of the greatest clubs in the world and said that if I had the opportunity to come here that I should take it with both hands, so I did.”
