Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini has reiterated his stance that the Premier League title race is 'finished', despite his side's resounding win at Norwich.
City thrashed Norwich 6-1 at Carrow Road on Saturday, closing the gap on leaders Manchester United to two points before Sir Alex Ferguson's men host Aston Villa on Sunday.
With the two clubs still to meet at the Etihad Stadium on 30th April, City's return to form has breathed new life into the race, although not according to Mancini.
"No, it's finished. It's not two (points), it's five.," he told
Sky Sports when quizzed on their title credentials.
"When you fight against a fantastic team like United, it's impossible.
"We made a fantastic performance because it was not easy to win here because Norwich are in a good moment.
"We need to finish this championship well and we've scored another six goals here today. I think we are starting to play really well and this is important.
"We need to continue to play well, score and win if it's possible."

Carlos Tevez stole the headlines as he followed up his first goal of the season against West Brom in mid-week with a well-taken hat-trick at Carrow Road.
The former Manchester United man once again linked up well with compatriot Sergio Aguero, who chipped in with two goals in the rout at Norwich, and Adam Johnson rounded off the scoring.
Mancini was delighted with Tevez's contribution but rejected claims City's title challenge has been hampered by his five-month exile following a dispute with the club.
"He's improved a lot over the last two weeks," said Mancini of the Argentine.
"He played 60 minutes against West Brom and he played 80 minutes today - I think that now he is better.
"But we did well without Carlos for four or five months and with Aguero, Mario (Balotelli) and (Edin) Dzeko we probably scored more goals."
