Argentina international returns from exile in homeland

Manchester City's Carlos Tevez has arrived back in England, ending his three-month self-imposed exile. The former City skipper has not played for the club since before the infamous UEFA Champions League defeat at Bayern Munich in September, when he refused to resume his warm-up when a substitute. Immediately after the incident, City boss Roberto Mancini insisted Tevez would never play for the club again. An anticipated move away from the club in January failed to materialise with AC Milan, Inter Milan and Paris Saint Germain all unable to agree deals. Now Mancini's stance appears to have softened and Tevez could return to the first-team squad. Tevez touched down at Manchester Airport on Tuesday, and he was expected to make an appearance at the club's Carrington training ground later in the day.
