TAYLOR GOING DUTCH?

FORTUNA SITTARD have targeted Manchester City`s transfer-listed striker Gareth Taylor.

The 26-year-old former Crystal Palace and Bristol Rovers player joined City for £750,000 from Sheffield United but has been disappointing in his two seasons at Maine Road.

The Dutch First Division side are repeatedly set to bid £450,000 for the man they almost signed three years ago but he then won his place back in the Blades` starting line-up and stayed in Sheffield.

The Dutch outfit watched him play for Manchester City reserves against Huddersfield Town last week.

Another man who could be on his way out of Maine Road is midfielder Michael Brown, who is currently on-loan at Sheffield United.

The 22-year-old has been a driving force behind the Blades` current rich vain of form and could sign in time to play against Newcastle in the FA Cup.
