Newcastle United striker Obafemi Martins hopes to recapture his form a year ago this December.
The Nigeria international was in sparkling form 12 months ago when he helped himself to six goals for The Magpies.
Martins has already found the back of the net against Blackburn and Birmingham and intends to finish off the month on a high note.
"I scored six goals during December last year and remember I was in really good form," he told the Daily Star.
"I've started this month off very well and I'm feeling good.
"I'm very happy to be playing in the team every week and know my job is to score goals. That's what I intend to do."
