Matthew Lowton remains hopeful that Aston Villa can continue their recent resurgence in form and stay away from the relegation zone.
Despite the club recording back-to-back league wins for the first time since May 2011, Villa are still sitting in a precarious position just three points above the drop zone with eight games remaining.
But the 23-year-old defender, who has been an ever-present this season, believes Paul Lambert's young squad have enough ability to stay out of trouble.
He said: "It's been a rollercoaster, but we knew it would be at the start of the season.
"There are a lot of young lads, new players with a new management coming together.
"We have shown we can stick together and fight and we have to do that in the remaining games."
