Cardiff loan star Wayne Routledge has set his sights on earning a run in the Bluebirds' line-up in order to get his promising career back on track. Routledge has enjoyed little pitch time at his parent club Aston Villa, making just two appearances since his January switch from Tottenham.

Clear run

As a result, the winger has accepted the two month loan offer from Championship side Cardiff in anticipation of securing a regular starting spot for the promotion candidates. "I want to play a few games and preferably I'd like to play all the games, which hopefully I can do here," Routledge told Sky Sports News. "Being in and out of any team is hard to deal with, but hopefully if I can get a clear run then I can start feeling better in myself and show what I'm really about."
