Scotland international Shaun Maloney has confirmed he is finally settling and adjusting to life at Aston Villa.
The former Celtic midfielder was linked with a return to Scotland after failing to make an impact at Villa following his £1million move in January.
However, Maloney now has his own apartment in Birmingham and has stated he is now enjoying Martin O'Neill's training sessions.
The 24-year-old has proved he is enjoying life in Birmingham after netting three Premier League goals in his last three outings, including a Boxing Day brace at Chelsea.
"Things are better," he confirmed in the Daily Mirror. "I certainly enjoy training a lot more than I did last season and I'm more settled.
"I've got a place in the city centre and I am trying to get myself on to the pitch a bit more and try to stay in the team."
