The goalkeeper made a horrendous blunder in the recent 3-0 defeat by local rivals Birmingham City but Taylor believes it will make Enckelman a stronger character.
"Peter will play. The thing is, the more we talk about it, the more it becomes as issue," Taylor told the club website.
"As far as we're concerned, that's the same as everything else. It's history, it's done and out of that you've just got to become a stronger character. I'm sure that he will do."
Number two Stefan Postma is available to move between the sticks should Taylor decide Enckelman needs to be taken out of the spotlight.
