Striker's agent accuses Rovers over lack of help

Nikola Kalinic's agent has hit out at Blackburn for blocking his potential move to Ukrainian side Dnipro. As revealed by skysports.com earlier this week, Kalinic has handed in a transfer request in a bid to force a move away from Ewood Park. Blackburn boss Steve Kean is thought to be willing to offload Kalinic with the Croatian international not in his long-term plans. Dnipro are thought to have made an offer for Kalinic, but Blackburn are struggling to agree a fee with them for the former Hajduk Split ace. Kalinic's representative, Tomislav Erceg, is unhappy that Blackburn will not discuss the offer from Dnipro.

Disrespected

"Nikola has been disrespected by the club. He tried all day to speak to them about his transfer request," said Erceg. "We even called India to speak to the owners and to the manager Steve Kean, but no-one would talk to us. There is an offer in, and it is worth more than £6million with bonuses. "Nikola does not want to play for Blackburn again. I spoke to him [Kean] three months ago and he said he [Kalinic] was his best player. Then he never plays him after that. "Nikola cannot play for Croatia if he does not get in the Blackburn team. He has to go. He is finished there."
