Blackburn defender Michel Salgado has agreed a contract extension to keep him at Ewood Park until the end of next season.
The 35-year-old Spaniard said earlier this month he was enjoying life in England and was keen to stay on at Rovers as they look to build under new boss Steve Kean and new Indian owners Venky's.
And the former Real Madrid man has followed up that statement by penning a new deal with the Premier League club which will keep him there until the summer of 2012.

Manager Kean told the club's official website: "To keep Michel here is great news.
"His experience is invaluable and his enthusiasm infectious.
"He's a winner and you can never have too many of those."
Salgado has become a firm fans' favourite since he was brought to the Lancashire outfit from Real by ex-boss Sam Allardyce in 2009.
He has notched up 45 appearances for Blackburn during his time at the club, scoring one goal.
The stopper's decision to stay on at Rovers follows captain Ryan Nelsen's contract extension, which the defender signed last weekend.
