Tottenham defender Kyle Walker insists his side will not let the Capital One Cup final distract them from the vital matches they face before heading to Wembley.

Spurs have a hectic schedule in the Premier League and Europa League in the build-up to the showdown with Chelsea on Sunday, March 1.

Speaking to Sky Sports News HQ he said: "Obviously the Wembley game is a massive one for the club and players, and hopefully we’re going to get the winners medal.

“But you have to be professional and we’ve got a lot of games left in the Premier League and games left in the Europa League.

“We’ll take one game at a time and if we keep doing that, hopefully we will get the rewards at the end of it.”

Walker and team-mate Eric Dier were speaking at the launch of the club’s Capital One Cup Final Party Toolkit where fans can download recipes, face masks, bunting and posters for the game.

And Dier believes matches over the next few weeks will go a long way to determining how successful Mauricio Pochettino' side will be this season.

“We have a lot of big games coming up," said the England U21 defender. "There’s a final push in the Premier League and a step closer in Europa League, so there’s big games coming up.”
