Carlo Cudicini is hoping Tottenham can wrap up fifth place, allowing them to revel in 'a great achievement'.
Spurs entered the 2010/11 campaign hoping to replicate their top-four heroics from the previous season.
They thoroughly enjoyed their time in the UEFA Champions League, as they progressed through to the quarter-finals, but saw their European endeavours have an adverse effect on domestic results.
That means Europa League qualification is now the best they can hope for, with a fifth-placed finish good enough to secure continental competition for another year.
Cudicini is determined to help Harry Redknapp's side reach that target, with a 2-0 victory over Liverpool last time out edging Spurs back into pole position in the race for the final European berth.
"It would be a great achievement to finish fifth," the Italian goalkeeper told the club's
official website.
"It won't be easy against Birmingham [on Sunday], though, because they are still fighting for their lives.
"It's our last home game of the season and we want to say thanks to the supporters in a nice way.
"They were unbelievable again at Anfield, they help us so much and hopefully we can finish well for them."

Cudicini has also taken the time to reflect on last weekend's 2-0 victory over Liverpool, as Spurs picked up their first three-point haul at Anfield in 18 years.
"Everyone did a great job," he added.
"Danny [Rose] was unbelievable at left-back, Daws [Michael Dawson] as usual and Ledley [King[ back in the team again. He's unbelievable.
"It was a great result, a great performance and really good day for us, especially after a few disappointing results lately.
"To go to Anfield, play good football and win 2-0 against a team that has been doing so well in the last three or four months was fantastic."
