Tottenham have agreed to sell Mounir El Hamdaoui to Willem II.

Tottenham have agreed to sell Mounir El Hamdaoui to Willem II.

The 21-year-old failed to establish himself at White Hart Lane after arriving at the club from Excelsior in 2005.

El Hamdaoui spent much of last season on loan at Derby and he impressed at Pride Park.

The youngster also endured a difficult time with injuries last season and he never made a first team appearance for Tottenham.

El Hamdaoui had expressed a desire to return to his native Holland and Willem II have agreed a deal with Tottenham to sign him.

He is expected to tie up the move next week after discussing personal terms and undergoing a medical.
