Lens goalkeeper Charles Itandje has played down speculation linking him with a move to Portsmouth.
Newly-endowed Pompey have been linked with a host of new recruits this summer including, amongst others, Achille Emana of Toulouse and Lens' Olivier Thomert.
Thomert's team-mate Itandje is another reported target for the South Coast club whose manager Harry Redknapp's summer spending spree will be bankrolled by co-owner Alexandre Gaydamak's millions.
However, while there may be a number of new players pitching up at Fratton Park before the summer's end, Itandje would not appear to be one of them.
"I don't want there to be any misunderstanding because it is not good for my club," Itandje told But!
"If I do leave it will only be for a club who can offer as many opportunities as Lens.
"And there are not many clubs in Europe who can do that."
