Vignal unsure of future

Portsmouth defender Gregory Vignal has admitted he is unsure of his future.

Portsmouth defender Gregory Vignal has admitted he is unsure of his future.

The return of Harry Redknapp to Portsmouth means no player is certain of their future at Fratton Park.

Vignal has failed to feature in Portsmouth's last three games and the former Liverpool man admits he is waiting to see if he features in Redknapp's long-term plans.

"When the transfer window opens we will see what Harry wants to do," said Vignal.

The Frenchman, who spent last season on loan at Rangers, hinted he would even be interested in a return to Ibrox.

Vignal was delighted to see his former employers reach the knockout stages of the UEFA Champions League and he claimed he would love the chance to go back to Rangers if they were paired with Liverpool in Friday's Champions League draw.

"Maybe if they get Liverpool I would try to come back to Rangers," added Vignal.

"It would be fantastic to play in a Champions League game at Anfield for Rangers."
