Keene stays on

Bournemouth have again extended the loan of Portsmouth striker James Keene.

Bournemouth have again extended the loan of Portsmouth striker James Keene.

The 19-year-old has been with the League One club for more than two months, having made eight appearances for The Cherries during that time.

Keene has agreed to further extend his loan by another 24 days, taking his loan up to the maximum three-month period.

With the Football League's loan deadline set to expire on Thursday, Keene was delighted to have the chance to play more first team football at Dean Court.

"It's good news for me that I can stay a bit longer," Keene told the club's official website.

"It's great to be playing first-team football and I'm really enjoying my time at Bournemouth.

"I feel I've fitted in well with the rest of the lads and I'm really enjoying my football here."
