One time Portsmouth target Sebastien Grax will spend another season on loan at Troyes.

The 20-year-old forward is extremely highly regarded in France and his parent club Monaco were successful in persuading him to sign a long-term contract at the Principality club recently.

With Grax's future resolved, ASM have opted to send him for a second season at Troyes in order to further his experience.

Grax had a fine campaign at Troyes, with his 16 goals helping the club secure promotion to Ligue 1.

Grax had emerged as a target for Pompey chief Alain Perrin, but the forward claimed the timing of a move to England would not have been right.

"Portsmouth also asked about me," he said. "It was financially tempting but I believe I still have plenty of time ahead of me."

Troyes have further added to their ranks with the capture of Alassane N'Dour.

The 23-year-old Senegalese midfielder was available on a free transfer, having spent last season at St Etienne, and has been handed a two-year contract by Troyes.
