Robson-Kanu eager to make his mark at the Madejski Stadium

Hal Robson-Kanu is hoping to break into the Reading team after signing a new contract at the Madejski Stadium. The teenager winger has agreed a deal until 2011 after impressing during loan spells at Southend United and Swindon Town this season. Robson-Kanu has yet to make his debut for Reading and aims to use the experience from his time in League One to force his way into Steve Coppell's plans. "As a young player coming through the Academy this is a real reward for me and I'm delighted," Robson-Kanu told the club's official website. "I've had a couple of loans and all I can keep doing is working hard. "This is a stepping stone and gives me stability to push on and then hopefully get into the Reading team. "I've been happy with performances at Swindon, the team's results aren't great, but personally I feel I'm doing well."
