Midfielder to spend third month at Whaddon Road

Charlton Athletic midfielder Dean Sinclair has extended his loan at Cheltenham Town for a third and final month. Sinclair has made 10 appearances for Cheltenham since joining the club in October and has impressed manager Keith Downing. He will now stay at Whaddon Road until early January, and Downing is delighted to have retained the 22-year-old for another month. "I'm really pleased that we've been able to extend Dean's loan for a third month," Downing told the club's official website.

Powerful

"His performances have been really important for us and he has done exceptionally well in the time he has been here. "He has great energy, he breaks into the box and he can grab a goal or two. He is a very powerful runner with or without the ball. "It will also be important to have him with us over the Christmas and New Year period when we have a lot of games." Sinclair joined Charlton from Barnet in the summer, but has made just two appearances in the Carling Cup for Alan Pardew's side.
