Posh land Royals starlet

PETERBOROUGH UNITED have further bolstered their squad with the signing of Reading midfielder Andre Boucaud.

The 18-year-old has been brought in by Barry Fry (pictured) after Gavin Strachan departed London Road for Southend.

"The manager [Alan Pardew] must be interested in me as he said he wants me to get some first team experience, and hopefully next season I can play a big part in his team," said Boucaud.

"I've been playing for the reserves for a while now, but have never played for the first team, so I need to see what it's like.

"I will try and grab this chance by the scruff of the neck as I believe in my own ability. And I also believe I can become a player if I work hard and hopefully stay injury-free."
