Bolton winger has not played all season with broken leg

Bolton Wanderers winger Chung-Yong Lee will continue his recovery from a broken leg in his native South Korea. The 23-year-old fractured his leg during Bolton's pre-season game against Newport Country and has been in a rehabilitation programme ever since. Lee boarded his flight to Seoul over a week ago to return home for the festive period and will be back in England in two weeks' time. But the South Korea international plans to continue his work in his homeland, saying on the club's official website: "The trip home will be a little bit of a break and involve more work. "I will meet up with the national team medical staff like I did last time I was in Seoul. "I've been in contact with them quite a lot as the doctor has wanted to know how I have been feeling. "It has been over five months since I hurt my leg and everything is progressing well. "I hope to be running on the pitch soon but now it's more gym work every day. "My routine has involved cycling on the bike and work on the weights to build up strength. I did a lot of running on the anti-gravity machine and I've started to take my first steps on the treadmill. "I don't like to say when I will be able to be back in full training with the team, I'm just taking things week by week."
