El Hadji Diouf has revealed he wants the opportunity to play for a big club again.

El Hadji Diouf has revealed he wants the opportunity to play for a big club again.

The Bolton Wanderers forward has just started his third season at The Reebok Stadium, having initially joined on loan from Liverpool in 2004.

He struggled to make an impact at Anfield, but it has not dimmed his enthusiasm for the chance to represent a major team in the future.

Diouf admits he is happy with The Trotters, but still harbours a desire to join a higher-profile club, with Spain appearing a preferred destination.

"I think all the time about playing for big clubs like Real Madrid or Barcelona, of course I do," Diouf is quoted in the News of the World.

"I tell myself that it will happen for me one day.

"At present I am with Bolton and I'm devoting my energies to them.

"But if I have a good season, I will get my reward in the future."
