Everton midfielder Leon Osman has agreed a one-year contract extension and will remain with the Premier League side until at least the summer of 2016.

Osman, 33, came through the academy at Goodison Park and bounced back from a serious knee injury he suffered as a youngster to have a hugely successful career for the Merseyside club.

He made his professional debut while on loan with Carlisle during the 2002/3 campaign but has gone on to play almost 400 times for Everton, scoring over 50 goals.
