Korea striker subject of English interest

Monaco coach Guy Lacombe has stated that he is prepared to allow Park Chu-young to talk to Premier League clubs should the right offer be made. The 25-year-old enjoyed an impressive World Cup with South Korea, scoring in their 2-2 draw with Nigeria to progress to the last 16 of the tournament. The former FC Seoul striker has been linked with a move to Fulham, Aston Villa and Everton recently, but so far no concrete offer has been made, according to Lacombe. Park moved to France in 2008, scoring 14 goals in 67 appearances for the club, however his work rate and energy have caught the eye of Premier League teams. "I don't know anything about transfer rumours," said Lacombe. "Even if an offer came we have no mind to sell the player. But in football I think there is no such word as 'never'."
