South African winger Delron Buckley is training with Sheffield United, while Everton still consider whether to offer him a move to Goodison Park.
Buckley, currently with Borussia Dortmund, spent the past few weeks with The Toffees and also went on their recent pre-season tour of America.
The 28-year-old impressed performing up the left flank and as a central striker, but David Moyes is now considering his options.
In the mean time Buckley has joined up with Neil Warnock's side - who could very well mount a rival bid for his services.
"Delroy is training with Sheffield for a few days," his business manager Rob Moore told skysports.com.
"It might be an option for him, but Everton have still not made a decision.
"We will have to see how things progress this week."
