Dellas has ten offers

Roma's in-demand defender Traianos Dellas is wanted by ten clubs following his outstanding showing in Euro 2004.

The Greece international shone in Portugal, defending stoutly and even getting forward to head the Silver Goal winner in the semi-final against Czech Republic.

Despite interest from Everton and Tottenham, the ex-Sheffield United centre back wants to remain in Rome rather than have another crack at life in England.

"We have received about ten offers from teams like Porto, Everton, Tottenham and a few Italian clubs," asserted Dellas's agent Stefano Antonelli.

"But Dellas has the intention to play to his full potential in Roma's jersey."

Dellas is determined to convince new Roma coach Cesare Prandelli that he is worthy of a regular starting slot at Stadio Olimpico.

Meanwhile, fellow Greek star Giourgias Karagounis is attracting interest from Fiorentina.

The newly-promoted Viola are keen to purchase him from Internazionale.
