Wright gets X-Ray all clear

RICHARD WRIGHT has not broken bones in his right hand, an X-Ray has revealed.

Everton's first choice keeper had been out since sustaining the injury during the 0-0 draw against Sunderland at the Stadium of Light.

Wright saved a penalty and kept a clean-sheet despite playing through the pain barrier.

The player later complained of severe discomfort in his right hand, but a series of X-Rays revealed that the goalkeeper is all clear to continue his Toffees career

He missed the recent Premiership games against Birmingham and Manchester City after failing late fitness tests but is expected to be back for the Southampton game next week
