Gunners defender rubbishes transfer rumours
Johan Djourou has sought to distance himself from speculation suggesting he is contemplating a summer switch away from Arsenal.
The Switzerland international linked up with the Gunners in 2002 - joining their academy ranks - and made his senior debut two years later.
Having taken in a decade of service with the north London outfit, he is now the longest-serving player at Emirates Stadium.
The 25-year-old has, however, struggled to hold down a regular first-team role throughout his time in England.
He made just 14 Premier League starts in 2011/12 and was reported to have grown disillusioned with life as a squad player.
Committed
Rumours linking him with a move to Spain or Italy began to circulate, with Napoli among those said to be keen on acquiring his services.
Djourou, though, insists he has no intention of pushing for a move.
He posted on his
Twitter account: "I just want to deny what has been in the press about my transfer.
"It isn't true at all. I have been at Arsenal for 10 years now and I am always committed."
