Laurent Koscielny hopes the brave display against AC Milan in the UEFA Champions League will help Arsenal secure a return to the competition next season.

Koscielny was among the goalscorers as Arsenal gave Milan an almighty scare at Emirates Stadium in a 3-0 defeat and the French centre-back hopes it is a sign of things to come.
Victories over Tottenham and Liverpool had already rejuvenated the Gunners' Premier League campaign, which was previously said to be in crisis.
Arsenal were in February thought to have no chance of finishing in the top four of the Premier League and returning to the Champions League.
But they are now fourth, just four points behind third-placed North London rivals Tottenham, and Koscielny, who scored an own goal against Liverpool, reckons the win over Milan is a demonstration of momentum.
Difficult
He told
Sky Sports 2 HD: Everybody fought together, so it is important to keep that.
"We know we won against Liverpool and we have some difficult games, but we want to be in the fourth place or maybe the third."
Koscielny scored Arsenal's first goal against Milan before Tomas Rosicky and a Robin van Persie penalty marked an incredible first half.
But Wenger's injury-hit squad ultimately ran out of steam in the second half and paid the price for their wretched first-leg defeat at the San Siro.
"When we lost 4-0 in the first game, it was difficult to come back," said Koscielny.
"But we want to play together and I think everybody gave their all on the pitch."
