Dons want Chorley

WIMBLEDON are looking to sign Arsenal's Ben Chorley after he impressed whilst on trial at Selhurst Park.

The 20-year-old joined The Dons for training last week and he played for their second string on Monday evening.

Chorley, who captained Arsenal's youth winning side in 2001, has been told by Arsene Wenger that he does not figure in his plans.

Stuart Murdoch has now admitted that he wants to sign the young stopper after being impressed.

"I want to speak to him about joining us," confirmed Murdoch.

"He's a good footballer - he's strong and a good organiser. I'm looking for him to join the squad."
