Gareth Bale looks set to be available for Real Madrid for Tuesday’s Champions League clash with Liverpool.

The Wales international winger has missed Real's last five games with a pelvic muscle injury, but returned to training with the European champions on Sunday.

Bale completed "demanding circuits of dribbling, passing and shooting circuits" during the session.

The La Liga leaders have not missed Bale’s presence, though, as they have won all five of those matches, scoring 19 goals in the process.

However, Real boss Carlo Ancelotti played down suggestions Bale will find it difficult to regain his place in the side.

"Everyone thinks that Bale is a problem, but I think he is a player that will help us to be even better," said the Italian.

A victory over Liverpool in the Group B clash at the Bernabeu will guarantee Real's place in the last-16.

Right-back Dani Carvajal is now Ancelotti's only injury doubt after limping off during the 4-0 win over Granada on Saturday.
