The Liverpool defender has enjoyed a fine season with Bastia after joining the Corsican outfit on loan at the start of the campaign.
Lens and Lyon would like to strike a similar deal with Reds boss Gerard Houllier, but the player has already admitted his priority is to return to Anfield and compete for a first team spot.
A switch to Lyon might appeal to the full back, but it looks as though the choice over his future rests with Houllier.
