Sas set for Gala stay

EXCLUSIVE
HASAN SAS is still desperate for a move to English football, but agent Hakan Azman believes that the player will probably opt to stay in Turkey when his contract expires in the summer.

Although the midfield schemer is only contracted to the end of the season, his demands have prompted owners Galatasaray to suspend further talks to the end of the campaign.

Agent Azman believes that several clubs are waiting in the wings to see if they can snatch the player for free - and this has discouraged bids.

"I think everyone knows that he is out of contract at the moment and they are waiting to see what happens," said Azman.

"I think the chances are he will remain with Galatasaray - if they agree to our demands - and he will remain in Turkey.

"Saying that, he is still desperate to play in both England and Italy - with his real dream to be lining up in The Premiership.

"Obviously his performances in the World Cup have made him a hot property and although I have had indications of interest from several English clubs, including Liverpool, there have been no firm offers.

"If this is still the case in the summer, and Galatasaray come up with the right deal then Sas will stay at the club."
