In-demand Sao Paulo midfielder Lucas has revealed that Serie A outfit Inter Milan have made contact with his agent regarding a possible transfer.
The Brazil international is expected to arrive in European football in the not too distant future, with a host of clubs having expressed an interest in his services.
Manchester United and Chelsea are understood to be among those keen to snap up the highly-rated 19-year-old.
Lucas admits that there is every chance he will make a move during the current transfer window.
He cannot say where he will end up if he does leave his homeland, but he has confirmed that Inter appear to be leading the chase at present.
Talks
"They are a big club and anyone would like to play there. I am no exception," Lucas told Folha de Sao Paulo.
"I know my father and my agent have spoken with the Inter president, but they have told me nothing yet.
"I can't guarantee I'll stay at Sao Paulo until the end of my deal.
"In football things can change very quickly and this situation is not just down to me."
