Petr Cech believes Chelsea have to shrug off the disappointment of the defeat to Newcastle and get ready for the FA Cup final.
The Wembley meeting with Liverpool on Saturday is the first of the Blues' two cup finals, with the UEFA Champions League encounter against Bayern Munich following on May 19th.
Cech believes that they could still be on the verge of a great season.
He told his own
official website: "I think that all the bad from the Newcastle match could turn for the good and we could learn our lesson. We could still have a fantastic season. The two big finals will determine how successful this season has been.
"We have two days to clear our minds, forget about the Newcastle match and prepare ourselves for a special match."
Luck
And the Czech Republic goalkeeper is hoping that their Wembley luck continues.
He said: "Chelsea and Wembley have a special link. We have won almost all our games there and I hope it continues. Liverpool have beaten us twice this season, so hopefully it will be third time lucky for us.
"This is the oldest cup competition in the world, it has a huge tradition and to win the FA Cup means a lot."
