Villas-Boas feels Jose shadow

Andre Villas-Boas has admitted that Jose Mourinho's shadow continues to lurk virtually everywhere.

Chelsea boss says legacy of former manager brings pressure

Andre Villas-Boas has admitted that Jose Mourinho's shadow continues to lurk virtually everywhere, following reports linking the former Chelsea manager with a return to Stamford Bridge. Mourinho led Chelsea to two league titles, two League Cups and one FA Cup before leaving in September 2007. Managers that have come in since have struggled to replicate that success, and Villas-Boas has come under pressure this season following a disappointing run of results. Things have not been made any easier for Villas-Boas this week with his former mentor at Porto linked with a return to London. Villas-Boas said: "The only place where Jose's shadow isn't lurking is Barcelona. It's everywhere else in the world. "If you can train a manager to be the best in the world, everyone wants him."
