Blues boss admits Kalou could leave but he is keen to keep Malouda

Andre Villas-Boas admits Chelsea have yet to offer Salomon Kalou fresh terms, but has revealed that talks are ongoing with Florent Malouda. Ivorian forward Kalou will see his current contract with the Blues expire at the end of the season. He has been on the books at Stamford Bridge for six years, but the 2011/12 campaign could be his last in west London. Extension discussions are yet to be held with the 26-year-old, meaning he could be set to drop into the free agent pool this summer. Malouda is also heading in that direction, but Villas-Boas claims the Blues are keen to retain the services of the France international winger. "At the moment Kalou is finishing his contract and we haven't decided on further continuity, not me but the football club, and Malouda we have been speaking to and there is interest from both parties to continue with his future but we have to decide at the end of the season," Villas-Boas told the club's official website. "For the player that he was for this football club, a good servant of the club, and for the match minutes that he has at the moment it's something we have to talk about at the end of the season."
