French giants reportedly have out-of-favour striker on their radar

Chelsea striker Salomon Kalou has refused to comment on rumours linking him with a January move to Marseille but admits he wants more game time. The 26-year-old has made just two Premier League appearances for the Blues this season to prompt reports in his native Ivory Coast that he could leave in the upcoming transfer window. According to French radio station RMC, Chelsea could loan out the frontman in January but want to keep him on the club's books to cover the possibility of losing fellow strikers Didier Drogba and Nicolas Anelka. Reports in France also claim Marseille want to sign Kalou if he does not go to the African Nations Cup in January. Olympiakos were previously thought to be interested in the Ivorian but he has ruled out a move to Greece. And the out-of-favour forward was quiet over the Marseille talk, saying: "I have nothing to comment on the rumours. "Olympiakos were interested but I'm not interested in Greece. I want to play more and more."
