Winger remains part of Scolari's plans

Chelsea winger Florent Malouda will not leave Stamford Bridge this summer, according to his agent Pierre Frelot. Malouda has been linked with a move to Roma and Barcelona after an indifferent first season at Stamford Bridge. But Frelot claims the 28-year-old is happy to remain with Chelsea, who he joined from Lyon last summer. Frelot says the French international is part of Luiz Felipe Scolari's plans in West London. "After a meeting that was held with Peter Kenyon and Luiz Felipe Scolari, I would very much like to clarify that the latter assured us that he has always appreciated Florent," Frelot told L'Equipe. "He counts on him. Florent is convinced that after a first season where his adaptation was interrupted by injury and changes with the coach, he will be able to fully express his talent."
