Manchester United have yet to comment on widespread reports that Sir Alex Ferguson is considering retiring as manager.

The Premier League champions are listed on the New York Stock Exchange and an announcement if any would be made there. It opens for business at 2.30pm UK time on Wednesday. Ferguson arrived at Carrington but there was no hint of anything different from the manager as he swept into the training complex, on the outskirts of Manchester, just before 7am. The speculation comes as United's confirmed their Premier League trophy parade will begin at Old Trafford on Monday before reaching its conclusion in Albert Square later in the evening. Ferguson and his players will attend a send-off event at Old Trafford at 1800, with the United manager due to address the crowd prior to departure. Their open-topped bus is due to leave at 1830, with the event due to finish at 2000, after the squad have made their way into the city. Club chief executive David Gill said: "Winning a 20th league title is a huge achievement for the club and we are excited to be able to share this special moment with our fans. "The support from the fans has been incredible this season and we're looking forward to celebrating with them during the trophy parade."
