Manchester United have announced that their 2012/13 pre-season tour will see them take in their first trip to Norway in 10 years.
The Red Devils have confirmed that they are to face Valerenga on 5th August at Oslo's Ullevaal Stadium.
United last visited Norway in 2002 and are delighted to be heading back to a region where they enjoy a sizeable following.
Chief executive David Gill is pleased to have put what promises to be a well-attended fixture in place and is looking forward to what he hopes will be a productive summer for the Red Devils.
"We have fantastic fans in Norway - the Scandinavian supporters' club is our biggest anywhere in the world with over 40,000 members," he said.
"It's great to have the chance to play in front of them again."
