Man Utd's Sylvain Ebanks-Blake has been ruled out for the rest of the season.

Manchester United striker Sylvain Ebanks-Blake has been ruled out for the rest of the season.

The 18-year-old striker broke his leg after scoring during a 2-0 midweek reserve win over Middlesbrough.

The Cambridge-born starlet has now had an operation which has sidelined him for the rest of the campaign.

"Sylvain underwent an operation on Thursday night," said a United spokesman.

"The operation went well but he will miss the rest of the season."
