Mohamed Salah is expected to decide in the next 24 hours whether to join Fiorentina from Chelsea, according to Sky sources.

It is understood Chelsea’s preference is for Salah to remain at Fiorentina next season, after the Italian club exercised their option to extend his loan.

The Italian side have offered the Egyptian winger a £40,000-a-week deal plus a bonus of £2m.

Fiorentina have an option to extend the loan spell or buy him for £11m.

Sky sources say Inter Milan and Juventus are also interested in the midfielder.

Salah scored six goals in 16 Serie A appearances last season to help the Viola qualify for the Europa League.

He made only eight appearances for Chelsea last season before being loaned out in January.

The 23-year-old joined the Blues in January 2014 for £11m from Swiss side FC Basel.
